About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing transportation activities to ensure shipments are delivered timely and safely.
- Working in a complex matrix organization, collaborating with business partners, distribution centers, and procurement.

Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications in transportation or supply chain management are advantageous.
- Experience in transportation operations within the healthcare sector is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to manage, inspire, and develop diverse teams.
- Previous experience as a team leader or supervisor in a transportation environment is highly valued.
- Outstanding organizational skills, adeptness in problem-solving, and effective communication are essential.
- Ability to respond confidently and effectively to critical situations, including supporting crisis preparedness and response initiatives.
- Experience in risk management and contingency planning to ensure resilience in transportation operations.
