About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a valued counselor to the global platform leadership team.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and teams in regions to advance organizational priorities, drive strategy alignment, and achieve commercial goals.
- Build a deep understanding of the business, technology development and strategy, and market opportunities.
- Inform an integrated global communications and marketing communications plan.
- Work in close collaboration with functional colleagues around the world, including Global Strategic Marketing, Brand Marketing, Region Commercial, MedTech global communications, Human Resources, Legal, and Johnson & Johnson leadership.
- Lead a team of communicators and independently lead project teams of agency professionals on both an ongoing and as needed basis.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public Affairs, or closely related field (required).
- Minimum 10 years leading communications in a corporate, government, or agency environment (required).
- Experience in healthcare and/or consumer health communications (required).
- Demonstrated success in content strategy, media relations, digital and social channels, and integrated communications campaigns.
- Strong track record of independently driving high‑impact communication programs across multiple audiences.
- Exceptional writing and presentation development skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong influence, relationship‑building, and executive‑level communication capabilities.
- Deep understanding of media analytics, content strategy, and brand and marketing communications.
