About the role
- Manage and support electrical asset lifecycle including: Scoping, Budgeting, Approval, Planning, Execution, and Turnover.
- Working hands on to investigate, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical equipment, controls and instruments and instrumentation systems failures as needed.
- Work with Equipment OEM’s and suppliers to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure assigned project work is completed on-time and on budget.
- Directly supervise contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, compliantly to SOP’s and regulations, and company policies.
- Identify improvement opportunities that will improve reliability, increase uptime, reduce spare parts consumption, and reduce compliance risks.
Requirements
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in an electrical engineering role.
- Controls experience VFDs, controllers for AHUs, freezers and manufacturing skids, and control panel wiring.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, electrical plans, or circuit diagrams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead electrical aspect of complex capital projects and rapid troubleshooting of existing systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Control of Hazardous Energy such as Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
