About the role
- Understand the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine business priorities and support IM Procurement Category Leaders to support strategies that advance those priorities
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure Procurement strategies are adopted within the business
- Identify business area specific industry trends that Procurement must build into its category strategies to ensure sustainable relevance to the business
- Support strategic sourcing events and negotiations
- Provide analytical support to team members
- Deliver against performance targets for the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Procurement organization in the role’s areas of responsibility, and ensure target achievement
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree, MBA or further advanced degree is desirable
- Business acumen – the ability to understand challenges through the eyes of the regional business leaders
- Influencing skills – the ability to persuade others to change behavior in pursuit of a common goal
- Leadership and collaboration skills with peers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information
- Foundational understanding of core procurement areas of focus (spend management, source-to pay, technologies, and category strategy)
- Project, change management, and process improvement capabilities
- Demonstrated learning agility, and the ability to improve both yourself and the people around you
- 10% of travel domestically and internationally
