Provide subject matter expertise, knowledge and execution support in the areas of physics-based modeling and simulation
Execute simulation and physical testing protocols to support evidence generation, product performance, reliability, safety and regulatory submissions
Develop and refine workflows and experimental methods to improve designs and generate evidence
Author technical reports for internal documentation, regulatory submissions and peer-reviewed publications
Collaborate with cross-functional team members including product development, quality, and regulatory to identify modeling opportunities and communicate technical findings

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (mechanical engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering or related fields)
6+ years relevant work experience
Experience with modeling and simulation, digital engineering or in silico research and development
Proficiency with CAE/simulation tools (ANSYS, LS-Dyna, Abaqus, Altair), CAD software (NX, PTC Creo, Solidworks), and programming languages (Python, C/C++, Fortran, MATLAB)
Analysis of data using complex statistical tools and Six Sigma Design Tools (e.g. Gauge R&R, DOE)
