About the role
- This position is designed as a central implementation and enablement role within Marketing.
- In the first year you will actively shape our strategic portfolio transformation in the Surgery area and translate transformation initiatives into concrete, marketable solutions for the market.
- In the second year you will develop into a broader marketing and project management role focused on portfolio development, go-to-market excellence, and sustainable implementation of new initiatives.
- You will report to the Platform Portfolio Transformation Lead Germany and work in close functional alignment with the Commercial Platform Lead EndoMech Energy or Wound Closure & Healing.
- Within this matrix structure you will actively shape the implementation of transformation and platform initiatives and help ensure their effective integration into the organization and the market.
- Implementation of portfolio and transformation initiatives with a focus on product exits, product upgrades, and platform transitions.
- Application of enablement and training concepts, structured transition approaches, and market-oriented communication formats.
- Close collaboration and continuous alignment with the inside sales team to develop modern remote approaches for product conversions, replacement and upgrade solutions, and customer transitions.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Medical Technology, or a comparable medical/commercial qualification
- Experience in product management for medical devices, ideally with knowledge of surgical stapling or field sales experience in this area
- Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English
- Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to lead without direct managerial responsibility (influence without formal authority)
- High emotional intelligence and resilience
- Affinity for data and numbers
- Excellent skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Independent, self-driven, results- and performance-oriented, pragmatic approach to work
- Ability to work on complex short-, medium- and long-term projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks independently
- Entrepreneurial mindset and decisiveness
- Strong passion and motivation for the topics to spark enthusiasm within the sales organization
- Willingness to travel up to 40% (customer visits, congresses, professional education)
