About the role
- Build strong relationships with ophthalmologists, hospitals, and medical centers in your territory
- Promote surgical vision products and grow sales to achieve targets
- Support doctors before, during, and after procedures (including OT support when needed)
- Plan and run product training, in‑service sessions, and demos for doctors and nurses
- Support cataract system demos and work closely with application and technical teams
- Grow the business by finding new customers and new opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and share insights with management
- Manage consignment stock and ensure excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- Preferably 5 years and above of sales experience, preferably in medical devices or pharmaceutical companies
- Experience calling on hospitals, surgeons, or healthcare professionals
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Confident in negotiation, relationship building, and problem solving
- Well‑organized, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Self‑driven, energetic, and motivated to achieve sales results
- Customer‑focused mentality with a passion for healthcare
