About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install and service EAS and other products
- Conduct site surveys at client locations to advise Sales on required products
- Complete the installation or service form at each client site and submit it after each call
- Program and adjust EAS and video systems using provided tools
- Travel to stores using the supplied truck to perform installations or service
- Occasionally require overnight stays and evening work when installations demand it
- Interact professionally with clients and coworkers
- Complete mandatory training courses
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained according to recommendations
- Keep vehicle inventory up to date and request replacements after each client when parts are used
- Provide basic product training to the client when necessary
- Follow the rules and procedures established by Sensormatic Canada Inc.
Requirements
What you’ll need- College diploma (DEC) in Electronics/Electrotechnology or a vocational diploma (DEP) in Security Systems Installation and Maintenance
- At least 2 years of experience in electronic repair and networking
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting networked devices
- Strong computer and networking skills and solid knowledge of operating systems
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Valid Quebec driver's license
