About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install and repair Inventory Control and Video equipment in retail environments
  • Respond to service calls efficiently and maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Work directly with customers and team members to resolve issues promptly and provide equipment training
  • Maintain an accurate parts inventory to support first-time fixes and efficient service delivery
  • Report customer satisfaction updates and any service or sales opportunities identified during visits to management
  • Support safe, effective field work while representing Johnson Controls professionally at customer sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Possession of an EL 06 License
  • Proficiency in electronics and networking fundamentals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Physical ability to carry and move equipment up to 70 lbs and work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders or working within ducts
  • Nice to Have: Networking certification
  • Experience installing or servicing IP cameras and DVR/NVR systems
  • Adaptability to industry changes and a strong work ethic
