About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of HVAC systems for large‑scale data center and mission critical projects
  • Ensure safe, timely, cost‑effective, and quality project execution
  • Lead site teams, manage project risks, and drive operational excellence from contract award through project completion and handover
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract scope, specifications, schedule, and budget
  • Develop and monitor project execution plans, master schedule, and manpower allocation
  • Oversee critical path activities and implement recovery plans when needed
  • Manage project cost control, budget forecasting, and cash flow
  • Review and approve subcontractor progress claims and variation orders
  • Identify, evaluate, and submit variation orders and extension of time (EOT) claims
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and main contractors
  • Lead project meetings (technical, progress, coordination, and commercial)
  • Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings, method statements, and technical documents
  • Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and future opportunities
  • Lead and mentor project engineers, supervisors, and site teams
  • Coordinate closely with MEP, CSA, vendors, and commissioning teams
  • Ensure effective communication between site, engineering, procurement, and management teams
  • Ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements, authority regulations, and industry standards
  • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety requirements
  • Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance
  • Identify and manage project risks related to design, schedule, cost, and resources
  • Proactively resolve site issues and technical challenges
  • Escalate critical risks with mitigation plans in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC project delivery
  • Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects
  • Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs, ventilation, and preferred BMS integration
  • Experience with mission-critical or data center projects is a strong advantage
  • Understanding of HVAC design, installation sequences, and T&C processes
  • Sound knowledge of contract management, project controls, and cost management
  • Familiar with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements
  • Knowledgeable in MS Project / Primavera, MS Excel, and reporting tools
