About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for acquiring new strategic healthcare customers.
  • Develop strategies and create segmentation playbooks to drive additional revenue and profit within the Healthcare Vertical.
  • Take ownership of outcomes by presenting JCI offerings to healthcare customers at the executive level.
  • Manage the ongoing sales process, develop relationships, and anticipate client needs.
  • Build partnerships that drive decision-making processes aligned with JCI products and services.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and clients' objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with local market teams to design business plans for new accounts.
  • Execute these plans effectively with both locally and corporately based teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive business development experience at the executive level and above.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organizational environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to organize large data sets.
  • Proven ability to influence markets at key levels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% regionally (position is virtually located).
