About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Strategic Accounts Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting our Strategic Account Managers and sales teams by driving operational excellence, ensuring accurate quoting and booking processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- This role is responsible for managing pre-sales activities, booking coordination, forecasting support, and dispute resolution, while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
- Pre-Sales Support: Maintain and update Smartsheet with current project details including naming conventions, assignments, and status.
- Review customer requests for completeness and follow up on missing documentation or drawings.
- Create and manage opportunities in Salesforce.
- Initiate Salesforce cases for Global Center of Excellence (GCoE) and site surveys.
- Generate timely and accurate quotes and estimates for assigned accounts, including change orders.
- Participate in internal and external meetings to ensure quoting accuracy.
- Assist in collecting required customer documentation.
- Booking Coordination: Obtain customer approvals or purchase orders and follow up as necessary.
- Review and create Compass estimates. Secure internal approvals and resolve booking holds.
- Attend meetings to ensure smooth and accurate booking processes.
- Sales Forecasting: Maintain updated opportunities in Salesforce to support accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to support forecasting efforts.
- Billing Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve billing disputes efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct monthly reviews with customer contracting teams and internal stakeholders to discuss renewals, issues, and updates.
- Support Strategic Account Managers in preparing quarterly customer reviews.
- Internal Collaboration: Align with transactional teams to support reporting, process improvements, contract modifications, inspection scheduling, and billing resolution.
- Provide backup support for the Sales Support Case Queue and additional accounts as needed.
Requirements

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Experience with Service Management software and financial systems.
- Previous experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Specialist.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and forecasting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
