About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the sale of Chiller products through the JCI HVAC System Branches as well as JCI sales/marketing personnel in export markets
  • Provide pre-sale technical support
  • Answer system level product application inquiries
  • Generate special quotations
  • Support order execution via interactions with the Order Management and Contract Engineering teams
  • Communicate and integrate with Chiller Solutions product team activities
  • Track new product development and acquire/retain knowledge of all assigned products
  • Daily interaction with field sales personnel providing guidance on the application and installation of assigned Chiller Solutions equipment in HVAC systems
  • Participate in the development of tools and documentation to support field sales as well as automate processes
  • Be proficient in the use of in-house engineering systems and documentation to respond to inquiries for product details
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for chiller systems
  • Design and customize chiller systems tailored to data center environments
  • Assist and counsel sales personnel in resolving equipment/job/code challenges
  • Effectively communicate and follow up with sales personnel, design engineers, and product management teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience preferably in the HVAC industry or a related Chiller Technology field
  • Knowledge of the principles of refrigeration systems and associated equipment
  • Up to 15 % travel is needed for factory visits, customer site visits and field visits related to training
