About the role
- Under direction of the Director of Sales, Applied Product Sales—EqNA Channel, profitably grows the York brands of Custom Air Handling (YC) and Standard Solution (XT) products
- Coordinates with EqNA channel sales leadership to set volume objectives
- Develops and implements activities and strategies to continually increase top line revenue, maximize margins and increase market share
- Work with the EqNA Channel sales team to provide engineered support, selections, and equipment pricing
- Develops and provides detailed engineering information to communicate design, configuration, operation, and installation requirements to consulting engineers
- Collaborates with the Channel Sales Director, Product Director, and fellow Regional Sales Manager teammates with sales responsibility for the Johnson Control, York, and Metasys brands of products through the EqNA branch channel to deploy new product offerings and ensures they are informed and trained on the products, features, value proposition, and pricing
- Operates with the highest business ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 7+ years HVAC systems and applications experience preferably with Custom or Commercial Air Handling Units
- Demonstrated analytical skills and computer skills to include: Advanced AutoCAD proficiency, Inventor knowledge, Microsoft office suite
- Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Ability to recognize sales opportunities
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal customers
- Ability to travel Travel 25-30%
