About the role

  • Provide drafting and design support for engineering departments by assuming drafting responsibility for assigned projects related to the data center industry
  • Prepare drawings of piece, parts, and assemblies
  • Utilize Excel for macro language programs to improve CAD (Inventor) productivity
  • Prepare bills of material and prelists using computerized bill of material system
  • Proficient at using 2D CAD software in drawing, drafting and design tasks
  • Check work of others that is similar in type and complexity to that which is personally performed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sheet metal design experience
  • 3D modeling experience
  • Able to mentor/train junior Designers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Permanent Resident and/or US Citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this position.
