About the role
- Contribute to the product team through product design, testing, and data analysis
- Support the manufacturing of the product and represent the design team through design changes
- Lead and participate in various engineering activities to resolve factory and field technical issues
- Generate engineering/design documentation and compile technical documents for use within the company
- Prepare and execute test programs to verify performance and reliability of components and systems
- Apply regulatory codes such as UL, CE, PED and ASME in product design
- Strive for continuous improvement and teamwork in a global product development environment
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (ABET accredited) or related science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related field
- Experience in a design and product development environment
- Basic understanding of fundamental business knowledge
- Knowledge/experience in electrical engineering (electric motor, motor control, electrical wiring) would be a plus
- Strong design background and knowledge/experience in refrigeration system and components (compressors, heat exchangers) would be a plus
