About the role

  • Disciplinary and technical leadership of the sales team for BMS installations in Germany
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to increase market share and margins
  • Analysis of market trends and derivation of measures for business development
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with contracts and company policies
  • Responsibility for order intake and the team’s performance/results, including target agreements
  • Maintenance of existing customer relationships and active acquisition of new customers
  • Conducting contract and price negotiations in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Preparation of annual sales plans including budgeting and forecasting
  • Promoting sales best practices as well as coaching and development of the team

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in sales and in leading teams
  • Solid knowledge of measurement, control and regulation technology (instrumentation and control)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking and negotiation ability
  • Excellent written and spoken English
