About the role
- Managing and driving sales efforts within assigned territory and among specified channel partners to achieve strategic growth in the Industrial Refrigeration market.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance the pipeline of the Regional Food & Beverage business and establish long-term customer relationships with contractors, consulting engineers/architects, and owner/end-user accounts.
- Cultivate demand for Frick equipment in the market and provide constructive feedback to the factory regarding commercial and technical matters to inform product development and commercial strategy.
- Deliver technical and commercial information to customers to foster the sale and specification of refrigeration equipment.
- Manage opportunity and pipeline forecasting and reporting utilizing Salesforce.com.
- Provide order and revenue forecasts, along with pipeline and market insights to regional management and factory teams on field activities, encompassing customer perceptions of Frick products, competitive actions, industry trends, and information on secured and lost jobs.
- Generate demand for Frick equipment via refrigeration contractors and other channel partners.
- Collect and analyze market data to drive proactive project bidding, thereby optimizing profits on each project.
- Engage with industry associations to advocate for the sale of Frick equipment (e.g., RETA, IARW, PIA, ASHRAE).
Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated success in sales, specifically in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, or related equipment.
- If lacking industrial refrigeration experience, must possess the technical aptitude to learn and devote necessary non-selling time to understanding industrial refrigeration/engineering, food freezing, and components necessary for constructing an industrial cold storage unit.
- Competency in MS Word Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word), internet software, and research for industry-specific information, along with CRM experience (Salesforce).
- Results-oriented self-starter with a strong desire to succeed, capable of working independently and expertly organizing daily tasks and CRM documentation.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to persuade and finalize deals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering technology; or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five(5) to ten (10) years of experience in industrial refrigeration sales/engineering, refrigeration contracting, or food freezing.
