About the role
- Manage relationships with government clients (federal, state, and city) to drive sales and revenue
- Generate sales and leads, identify opportunities within account base for growth, and increase revenue from current accounts
- Ensure clients are aware of our solutions and partner with Marketing to create leads
- Cross sell and upsell an assigned installed base of customers and expand contract values
- Increase customer satisfaction by understanding business needs and recommending FM:Systems solutions
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers to drive customer satisfaction and create referral networks
- Forecasting and tracking – utilize Salesforce and work closely with clients to forecast and track sales opportunities
Requirements
- Selling subscription based software, Saas and Haas
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
- 5+ years of account management experience working with public sector clients
- Technical aptitude working with software solutions
- Relationship management and cross functional communications
- Federal, state and local government industry experience
- Experience using Salesforce for forecasting and tracking sales opportunities
