About the role

  • As an Installation Engineer, responsible for the installation of split, multi-split, VRV / VRF, DX systems at customer sites
  • Maintain the relationship with clients, displaying good self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Attend various client sites, supporting projects and carrying out the installation and commissioning of Air-conditioning units and commercial refrigeration systems
  • Be part of the VRF Installation Team, accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Adhere to all company and legal requirements including complying with Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Responsible for installation of HVAC equipment and pipework on customer sites
  • Support various projects, requiring working away if necessary

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full installation of HVAC systems including pipework, bracketry and cabling
  • F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
  • Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale
  • Experience & knowledge with DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant
  • Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment
  • Understands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams
  • A full UK driving license
  • IT skills – being able to record the details in the LD-Control platform (iPad)
  • Self-motivated
  • A committed can-do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team
  • NVQ level 2 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning (preferred but not essential)
  • CSCS Skill card (preferred but not essential)
  • IPAF 3A & 3B (preferred but not essential)
  • SSSTS card (preferred but not essential)
  • PASMA Card (preferred but not essential)
