Lead a high-performing team of network engineers responsible for data center networking
Maintaining firewall rule sets and overall health
SD-WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi across branches nationwide
Supporting a cloud-driven phone system, collaboration tools, and meeting room technologies
Physical security infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud-managed enterprise camera systems
Camera network design, deployment, and lifecycle management
Video storage, retention, and secure access controls
Vendor coordination for camera installations, cabling, and maintenance
Monitoring and troubleshooting camera system health and performance
Leading projects and troubleshooting with Johnson Brothers IT personnel
Communicate with and engage with internal business partners, management, and key stakeholders
Monitor and maintain the health of network infrastructure, lead efforts to continually improve stability of the enterprise network
Plan, lead, and implement network changes, and communicate the impact of changes to the business
Help determine priorities for the network team
Mentor junior network engineers
Work trouble tickets, create and update documentation for network team

Requirements

Extensive experience working in an enterprise network
Networking education, vendor certification (CCNP), or equivalent work experience
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to plan, lead, and implement complex projects
Advanced network troubleshooting skills
7+ years of networking experience
Experience implementing and troubleshooting SD-WAN networks
Advanced experience with enterprise switch infrastructure
Advanced wireless knowledge, including implementation and troubleshooting
Palo Alto enterprise firewall experience
Packet capture analysis experience
Network design experience
Experience with enterprise physical security systems, including on-prem and cloud-managed camera platforms (e.g., Verkada, Alta, Avigilon)
Familiarity with physical access control systems and their network dependencies.
