About the role

  • Advise medical device and IVD manufacturers on implementing cybersecurity and software lifecycle requirements
  • Create and review cybersecurity documentation
  • Lead workshops
  • Develop practical templates and processes for secure software development
  • Support clients in the adoption and implementation of cybersecurity processes in accordance with IEC 81001-5-1

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid professional experience in cybersecurity/IT security in regulated environments or with medical software
  • Good knowledge of implementing IEC 81001-5-1
  • Experience in software development projects
  • Good understanding of the software development process according to IEC 62304
  • Enjoys consulting and excels in client interactions through clear communication, reliability, and a structured, analytical working style
  • Curiosity and a commitment to continuous professional development
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
