About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead procurement sourcing activities focused on Construction, Engineering, Facilities and Energy categories
Partner with stakeholders to influence cost allocation, spend and supplier management
Reduce Goods Not For Resale expenditure and mitigate third-party risk
Deliver best-value procurement through sourcing and negotiation expertise
Conduct source-to-contract activities alongside Finance, Legal and Procurement teams
Negotiate commercial and contractual terms
Lead or support end-to-end tender activities
Facilitate stakeholder and supplier meetings
Analyse data with stakeholders to identify and implement improvement opportunities
Develop and execute strategic category plans
Provide robust challenges throughout the cost cycle to deliver commercial benefits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant commercial experience in a Procurement function or suitable equivalent
Skilled in sourcing and negotiation
Good understanding of procurement processes and systems
Category planning and sourcing strategy experience
Supplier management experience
Strong stakeholder management skills and relationship-building track record
Ability to analyse data sets such as baseline spend and tender responses
Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts
MCIPS qualified or working towards (desirable)
Deep understanding of Procurement strategy and policy (desirable)
Relevant procurement experience in Property (desirable)
