About the role
- Build complex data models and conduct complex data analysis in support of research projects.
- Coordinate data and data analysis activities across multiple studies.
- Lead a specific gene-environment interaction analytic project for the GEARS autism center of excellence.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a database of survey data from a multi-site study.
- Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates.
- Oversee quality control procedures for the database and ongoing analysis.
- Develop data models and conduct statistical analyses of data collected to support empirical study.
- Build transmission models and create software tools across diverse programming languages to support research efforts.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in related field.
- One-year of related experience.
- Highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.
- PhD in a related field (preferred).
- Genetic epidemiology or statistical genetics training and experience (preferred).
- Experience performing analyses on a high-performance compute cluster, utilizing parallelization and multi-threading, and mastery of the R statistical language (preferred).
- Experience in neurodevelopmental outcomes and prenatal exposures (preferred).
