About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform thermal and mechanical dimensioning of heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) and their components for proposals and project execution
- Select materials and account for associated thermodynamic behavior
- Prepare calculation notes and technical specifications establishing the base design
- Verify mechanical drawings for completeness and compliance
- Support proposal and project teams during technical clarification meetings with clients
- Participate in design reviews and follow up on action plans
- Produce technical deliverables including studies, analyses, reports and presentations
- Ensure continuity of technical information at project interfaces
- Contribute to resolving technical issues during project execution
- Maintain and improve team technical expertise through technology watch, standards watch and lessons-learned processes
- Act as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and occasionally external clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recent engineering graduate (Civil or Industrial Engineer), from schools such as Gramme, University of Liège, or equivalent
- Internship in the energy sector is an asset
- Good command of the MS Office suite, especially Excel
- Strong interest in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and energy systems
- Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
- Good communication skills and ability to adapt to different profiles
- Genuine motivation to learn and grow within an engineering environment
- Good understanding of English required
- French and English language skills
- Occasional travel within Belgium or abroad may be required, though rare and not mandatory
