About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Application of the Design Process
- Check the completeness of the inputs received from the Technical Project Manager and basic engineering department to proceed to his/her work
- Integrate equipment in the piping networks in 3D model
- Proceed to the spooling of piping networks in the 3D model
- Respect the pipe stress analysis reports for piping hanger location
- Issue the manufacturing documentation (mainly isometric drawings) in compliance with internal standards and contractual requirements
- Provide the engineers with information needed for the project progress
- Manage the mechanical interfaces between the different equipment
- Issue the manufacturing documentation in compliance with administrative standards
- Issue EBOM’s (Engineering Bill of Materials) for raw material procurement
- Issue and update the standard technical documentation
- Keep his competencies updated with regards to the needs of the Business
- Be proactive in the continuous improvement and REX (return on experience) processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of relevant experience within an engineering context
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in Piping Design Engineering
- Must have 3D CAD (SP3D) working exposure.
- 2D CAD knowledge (AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Understanding of professional environment in the Energy field
- Basic knowledge of usual codes / norms and good practice rules (ASME and EN)
- Mechanical drawings (cutting, machining, welding, assembly…)
- EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials)
- Knowledge of piping material (ASME and EN)
- Reading of technical documentation
- Proficient in English, particularly in reading and writing.
