Communications Lead, Unmanned Ground Systems C2 & Robotics

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Hold level-3 technical ownership in collaboration with the communications partner
- Design the remote-control failsafe system: direct wireless control for training and testing
- Address robotics doctrinal requirements within the communications architecture
- Define denied-spectrum concept of operations: graceful degradation of autonomy and communications under electronic warfare conditions
- Co-design the authority-sharing state machine (human-in-the-loop, human-out-of-the-loop, self-defense modes)
- Own level-3 commissioning: first remote-control loop, first mesh link
Requirements
What you’ll need- Military background in communications, electronic warfare, or signal expertise
- Preferred officer-level experience
- Technical understanding of tactical communications: integration of software-defined radio, mesh networking, satellite communications concepts
- Interest or experience in robotics, unmanned systems, or autonomous operations
- Ability to develop doctrine: translate operational needs into technical requirements and vice versa
- Understanding of command-and-control frameworks and standards used in allied ground operations
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
