Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide field technical sales support for spray, spraying systems, valve, and valve automation product lines
  • Prospect and generate sales opportunities and leads
  • Establish and maintain professional business relationships with new and existing customers
  • Service existing customers and support new territory growth
  • Visit customers to review products and applications, evaluate needs, and recommend customized solutions
  • Manage CRM activities
  • Participate in joint calls with management, suppliers, and other division representatives
  • Pursue continuous learning through supplier, factory, and virtual activities
  • Meet or exceed territory sales and profitability targets
  • Maintain overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical field
  • Strong technical aptitude and general understanding of industrial processes
  • Hunter mindset
  • Interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
  • Strong presentation skills and experience preparing professional PowerPoint decks
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Working knowledge of industry products, systems, and applications

  • Ability to travel daily to customer and supplier sites, approximately 60–75%
  • Ability to travel long distance and overnight as required, approximately 10%
