About the role
- Support surgical training in senology and mentor resident physicians.
- Collaborate with gynecological colleagues on further training in gynecologic oncology.
- Integrate into an experienced, collegial and team-oriented working environment.
- Ensure high-quality patient care within the senology/breast center.
- Contribute to and implement innovative concepts to improve patient care.
Requirements
- Medical degree with a valid license to practice medicine (Approbation)
- Specialist training in gynecology and obstetrics or a related field with a focus on senology
- Extensive experience in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery; Senior Breast Surgeon certification (DKG) or Breast Surgeon AWOgyn desirable
- Understanding of the specific needs of oncology patients
- Experience in diagnostics, genetic counselling and systemic therapy for oncology patients
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting and willingness to contribute actively
- Strong team skills and enthusiasm for working in a collegial environment
- Interest in scientific research is desirable
