About the role
- Holistic, professional care of critically ill patients in an intensive care unit
- Monitoring, operation and interpretation of intensive care medical equipment (e.g., ventilation, monitoring, infusion and perfusion systems)
- Collaboration with physicians, therapists and other professional groups within a multiprofessional team
- Participation in emergency situations, resuscitations and crisis interventions
- Involvement in nursing and medical ward rounds
- Nursing documentation in accordance with current standards
- Adherence to and development of hygiene and quality guidelines
Requirements
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (e.g., registered nurse/health and nursing professional) (m/f/d)
- Preferably specialization in intensive care and anesthesia nursing — willingness to undertake further training is often accepted
- Professional and social competence, resilience and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
