About the role
- Pre- and post-operative preparation of the operating room
- Relief/float duties between departments
- Assisting with instruments during minor and complex surgical procedures
- Special hygienic working methods
- Handling of medical technology
- Professional care and accompaniment of patients
- Deployment areas within our hospital include: the operating department with endoscopy/bronchoscopy and the recovery room, the central sterilization department, a nursing ward and the outpatient clinic
- Assignments in external hospitals provide an extended insight into the surgical specialties
Requirements
- Secondary school leaving certificate (e.g., Realschulabschluss) or secondary general school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss)
- Completed vocational training (minimum 2 years) or a completed assistant or helper training in nursing (minimum one year)
- Interest in medical knowledge
- Enjoy working with modern technology
- Organizational skills and ability to work in a team
- Empathy and communication skills
- Sense of responsibility
- Experience using a PC
- Medical fitness
