About the role
- Pre- and post-operative preparation of the operating room
- Float/relief duties as required
- Instrumentation for minor and complex surgical procedures
- Adherence to specialized hygiene procedures
- Handling and operation of medical equipment
- Professional patient care and support
- Deployment areas in our hospital include the operating department with endoscopy/bronchoscopy and the recovery room, the central sterilization unit, a nursing ward, and the outpatient clinic
- Assignments in external hospitals provide broader insight into surgical specialties
Requirements
- Secondary school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss)
- Completed vocational training (minimum 2 years) or completed assistant/auxiliary nursing training (minimum 1 year)
- Interest in medical subjects
- Enjoy working with modern technology
- Organizational skills and ability to work in a team
- Empathy and communication skills
- Sense of responsibility
- Experience using a PC
- Medical fitness / health suitability
