About the role
- Analyze/understand business challenges and recommend appropriate IT solutions and services
- Develop current and future business processes
- Determine interface requirements and resolve issues affecting the business process
- Conduct fit gap analysis for software package evaluations
- Convert business requirements into functional specifications, data models and test cases
- Develop detailed functional specifications documents
- Assist the users in developing their user or business procedures
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in addressing business risks
- Perform complex audit tasks and prepare reports with findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting
- CPA designation or non-US equivalent (e.g. CCA) is required.
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong process flow and diagramming skills.
- Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Expertise in business process analysis, system analysis and data analysis
- Very proficient in developing requirements definition, functional specifications, data models and business procedures
- Proficient in software fit analysis
- Expertise in MS Office, MS Project, Visio and other PC software
- Has advanced knowledge of audit principles through extensive experience.
- Has strong understanding of the business processes in assigned areas to best implement policies and practices.
