About the role
- Determine calibration requirements, equipment specifications, measurements, and methods.
- Prepare reference standards used in performing calibration.
- Apply knowledge of national and international standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure accuracy and functionality of all reference standards.
- Develop and implement measurement process improvements using statistical methods and proficiency studies.
- Provide engineering analysis and guidance for calibration issues.
- Stop work or withhold non‑conforming equipment or certificates when necessary.
- Serve as an authorized signatory of calibration certificates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical program.
- English Proficiency
- 3 years of experience in:
- Calibration processes and measurement science (Metrology)
- Developing calibration process improvements.
- ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17043 is an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming (Python, VBA, or similar)
