About the role
- Collaborating with other engineering groups to identify and resolve design issues as early as possible in the new product development cycle.
- Working with the NPI team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Building various electro-mechanical assemblies to develop the assembly process flow and identify any assembly risks that may lead to product failures.
- Creating detailed assembly process documents to be used by our pilot production teams and contract manufacturers.
- Identifying, designing, and qualifying assembly tools and fixtures used in the assembly of our products.
- Assisting in the evaluation of product assembly issues and collaborating with other groups to determine the root cause and corrective action.
- Training pilot line and contract manufacturer team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Mechatronics engineering Or Related Field.
- English Proficiency.
- 1 years of experience in Mechanical aptitude with an eagerness to comprehend how things go together and a willingness to offer ideas for improving the overall product design.
- Basic hand tools and the ability to interpret product design requirements from control drawings.
- Developing and documenting detailed assembly instructions.
