About the role
- Lead complex customer engagements, technical escalations, and device bring‑up efforts for advanced memory technologies.
- Develop high‑quality test program methodologies, characterization flows, and correlation strategies for next‑generation Flash and DRAM devices.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management to influence tester hardware and software roadmaps based on customer needs.
- Build technical demonstrations, documentation, and enablement content that support pre‑ and post‑sales initiatives.
- Support cross‑functional alignment on feature requirements, system validation, and deployment strategies.
- Partner with global customers as a trusted technical advisor during evaluation, ramp, and mass‑production deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and elevate engineering best practices across the organization.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical issues through root‑cause analysis, solution development, and scalable corrective actions.
Requirements
- BSEE or related field OR equivalent experience
- 20+ years in memory semiconductor ATE engineering
- Extensive experience with Flash and high‑speed DRAM test program development, debug, and correlation
- Deep understanding of wafer sort and final test methodologies
- Expert proficiency in C/C++ programming
- Strong hardware/software debug capability
- Hands‑on experience with high‑volume manufacturing test flows
- Experience with Nextest Magnum and/or Advantest memory test platforms (preferred)
- High‑speed serial interface testing experience (preferred)
- Background in emerging memory technologies (preferred)
- Experience supporting global customers and managing complex technical escalations (preferred)
- Prior involvement in technical sales, pre‑sales, or platform evaluations (preferred)
