About the role

  • Lead and supervise the team to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop and manage employee work plans and schedules.
  • Oversee new machine installation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery according to plan.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on hard disk drive testing and smart storage machines.
  • Continuously improve troubleshooting methods and processes.
  • Develop preventive and corrective maintenance execution process and plan.
  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to discuss installation plans, service activities, and provide daily/weekly service reports.
  • Communicate effectively regarding issues, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mechatronic fundamentals
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical principles such as bearings, gearboxes, actuators, and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical fundamentals, including AC/DC principles, power distribution, protective devices, and grounding
  • Knowledge of electronics fundamentals, including sensors, transducers, and analog/digital signals.
  • Ability to use AI tools (preferably Microsoft solutions) or excel to analyze data.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Solid presentation skills and effective communication in English.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively as part of a team, and lead a team to achieve objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics is preferred or other relevant Engineering disciplines such as Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical.
  • 5 years or above of experience in HDD test systems or service or maintenance or other precise automation related fields (preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of at least 3 employees.
