About the role
- Provides requirements for various security and advisory functions for the support of safeguarding and disclosure operations for the Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR).
- Serves as project coordinator for full-range major/complex projects dealing with business aspects of Information Technology (IT) security.
- Identifies functional requirements in collaboration with Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) on computer systems and databases to meet Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and other applicable standards.
- Serves as full line supervisor.
- Serves as back-up to the Chief Disclosure Officer.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
- Requires prior experience equivalent to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams or similar collaborative system.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint or similar information sharing system.
