About the role

  • Subject to management approval, serves as the Manager of Operations and Special Projects for the Enterprise Resource Planning Program (ERP), including Contract & Policy Management for the Department of Innovation & Technology, determining operational policy which fixes objectives or states principles to control actions toward operating objectives.
  • Develops and implements methods and systems to monitor progress toward attaining goals and objectives of the ERP Program, ensuring work products adhere to state-wide policies and guidelines.
  • Performs research and analysis, drafts communications, and liaises with DoIT Legal Counsel on contractual issues related to ERP Program.
  • Supervises contractual staff.
  • Advises ERP Program Director and DoIT Secretary regarding program development, fiscal status and other related matters.
  • Serves as an agency spokesperson on matters associated with the administrative Operations of the ERP Program.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with coursework in public or business administration.
  • Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
  • Requires three (3) years of professional supervisory experience in a large organization.
