About the role

  • Support in production daily tasks to maintain KPI archive more than 99% target.
  • Troubleshooting, repair, diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment, including motors, drives, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and control panels.
  • Maintenance execution, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrations, and equipment health checks; plan and prioritize work to minimize production impact.
  • Root Cause Analysis, lead structured problem-solving using FMEA, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 5-Why, 4W1H, 8D implement and verify CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Documentation creates accurate service reports, log downtime causes, parts usage, change notes, and update electrical wiring, PLC schematics and mechanical drawings as needed.
  • Coordinate with Customer Test Equipment Team to ensure effective planning, organization, and delivery of system service breakdown shortly.
  • Customer Communication provides clear technical updates, explain issues and solutions, set expectations for restoration and next steps; manage escalations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow LOTO, EHS, machine safety standards and customer regulations; enforce SOPs and risk controls during high-energy work (electrical, rotating machinery).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or other Engineering disciplines is required.
  • Experience: Experienced in HDD test systems or related experience 0-5 years.
  • Junior: 0–2 years in field service/maintenance/automation (internships/co-ops considered).
  • Mid/Senior: 3–7+ years with proven PLC, drives, industrial networks, and complex equipment troubleshooting.
  • Computer literacy and Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoints, Excel, and Word.
  • Good communication, listening and writing in English skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Electrical fundamentals (AC/DC, power distribution, protective devices, grounding).
  • Electronics (sensors, transducers, analog/digital signals).
  • Mechanics (bearings, gearboxes, actuators; pneumatics/hydraulics basics).
  • Mechatronics (electromechanical integration, motion control).
  • PLC/HMI/SCADA (basic ladder logic navigation, I/O diagnostics; familiarity with major vendors is a plus).
  • PC systems (Windows, drivers, industrial software, connectivity/TCP-IP).
