About the role
- Provides strategic leadership for the design and construction of capital improvement projects.
- Administers and directs overall design and construction of projects.
- Supervises staff of Regional Managers overseeing project management teams.
- Addresses complex issues with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Researches and recommends project strategies and delivery methods.
- Delivers presentations and represents CDB at meetings.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related degree.
- Requires ten (10) years' experience in construction management.
- Requires two (2) years' experience supervising professional staff.
- Prefers professional licensure as an architect or engineer.
- Prefers Construction Management Certification.
- Prefers two (2) years' experience managing expectations of stakeholders.
- Prefers two (2) years' experience developing and delivering presentations, briefings, reports, training, and updates to executive leadership and staff.
- Prefers two (2) years' experience with office software packages including Microsoft Office.
- Prefers working knowledge of construction industry software.
