About the role

  • Your role is key in analyzing financial data to guide strategic decisions and ensuring the accuracy of an organization’s financial records.
  • Reviewing and recording employee and vendor payments.
  • Verify invoice details, match with purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review BS reconciliation prepared by FSS, Credit and Collection.
  • Conducting monthly and quarterly close processes and supporting Korea and offshore affiliate entity accounting.
  • Supporting all financial activities of the company and providing management report as needed.
  • Preparing financial statements of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP, Local GAAP), and company internal control and policies.
  • Reviewing and approving employee and vendor payments.
  • Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Review BS reconciliation prepared by FSS, Credit and Collection.
  • Assisting in year-end external audits.
  • Assisting with internal audit and compliance.
  • Keeping updated on new accounting standards and working with Operations/Business departments to implement process changes as a result of changes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, AICPA preferred
  • Proficient English communication in written and verbal
  • At least 5 years working experience including GL Accountant role
  • Familiar with Accounting standards (US GAAP) , internal control and policies
  • Extensive knowledge in Korea tax rules/regulations, statutory compliance and constantly updated with current circulars and memorandums
  • Extensive knowledge in general accounting, accounts payable and fixed assets
  • Working knowledge in MS Excel (pivot, advance formula, chart and graphs)
  • Strong Critical-thinking skills, proactive and self-motivated and must be able to resolve financial issues professionally
  • Must have the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
