Finance Manager – iGaming
JobMatchingPartnerFinance Manager managing day-to-day financial operations for an iGaming subsidiary in Malta. Responsible for accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day end-to-end accounting operations
- Monitor cash flows, payments, and managing bank accounts
- Manage the calculation and reconciliation of gaming revenue, including the preparation of supporting schedules and the accurate recording of revenue-related transactions and invoices
- Perform and review reconciliations of PSPs
- Prepare and review gaming tax calculations and ensure the timely submission and settlement of all gaming tax obligations
- Prepare and submit all financial and regulatory reports required under the MGA licence, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations
- Support MGA regulatory audits and inspections
- Prepare the monthly management accounts and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Prepare VAT returns, Tax Returns and other regulatory filings
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls
- Assist with financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent thereof
- 5 years’ experience of working with iGaming B2C financial reporting (MGA-licensed)
- Self-motivated with an ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in an office-based job in Malta, with hybrid flexibility
