About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day end-to-end accounting operations
Monitor cash flows, payments, and managing bank accounts
Manage the calculation and reconciliation of gaming revenue, including the preparation of supporting schedules and the accurate recording of revenue-related transactions and invoices
Perform and review reconciliations of PSPs
Prepare and review gaming tax calculations and ensure the timely submission and settlement of all gaming tax obligations
Prepare and submit all financial and regulatory reports required under the MGA licence, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations
Support MGA regulatory audits and inspections
Prepare the monthly management accounts and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
Prepare VAT returns, Tax Returns and other regulatory filings
Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls
Assist with financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent thereof
5 years’ experience of working with iGaming B2C financial reporting (MGA-licensed)
Self-motivated with an ability to manage and prioritise own workload
Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to work in an office-based job in Malta, with hybrid flexibility
