About the role
- Manage a portfolio of clients and handle payroll processes
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Prepare engagement forms and documentation for new hires and terminations
- Handle submissions for new clients with the IRD and Jobsplus, including terminations for local and foreign employees
- Provide ongoing payroll support and guidance to clients
- Support and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- 2+ years of payroll experience with a Maltese company
- Formal tertiary education in a related field
- Fluency in English at C2/native level, both written and spoken
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Experience with Shireburn Indigo is considered an asset
- Proficient in MS365, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
