About the role
- Lead PSP and payment orchestrator integrations end-to-end—from discovery and scoping to implementation and launch
- Own and prioritize the payments backlog and roadmap, aligning technical improvements with business impact
- Design and continuously improve a PSP-agnostic, scalable payment infrastructure
- Partner with the Engineering Manager to deliver secure, maintainable, and future-ready architecture
- Collaborate with Payments Operations to increase authorization rates, improve resilience, and expand global coverage
- Enable efficient launches of new markets and payment methods
- Evaluate, select, and onboard new payment providers with a rigorous technical lens
- Proactively identify architectural gaps and scalability risks before they become bottlenecks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership
- Proven, hands-on experience integrating PSPs such as Adyen, Stripe, Checkout.com, Worldpay, or PayPal
- Experience working with payment orchestration platforms or multi-PSP environments
- Strong understanding of: Payment flows (authorization, capture, refunds, recurring payments)
- Tokenization and recurring billing logic
- 3DS and SCA fundamentals
- Webhooks and API-based integrations
- Confidence discussing APIs, payload structures, error codes, and system architecture with engineers
- A structured, analytical, and execution-focused mindset
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
