About the role
- Design and optimize the free-to-paid journey—from feature gating to upgrade flows and pricing pages.
- Architect subscription tiers, trial experiences, and transactional models based on user needs and behavioral economics.
- Run A/B tests on pricing models, feature packaging, and conversion flows to maximize LTV without compromising trust.
- Balance short-term revenue growth with long-term user value and brand credibility.
- Translate insights into clear product hypotheses, and guide rapid iteration with design and engineering.
- Own and prioritize a roadmap focused on monetization outcomes, not just feature delivery.
- Collaborate deeply with design, engineering, marketing, and AI/data teams to align on goals and deliver value.
- Maintain a value-driven backlog and communicate trade-offs with clarity to stakeholders.
- Lead demos, planning, and grooming sessions with energy and vision.
- Partner with data science to build predictive models for conversion, churn, and price sensitivity.
- Use product analytics and experimentation tools (like Mixpanel, Optimizely, Amplitude) to track funnel metrics, ARPU, retention curves, and more.
- Synthesize behavioral data, user feedback, and market insights into actionable monetization strategies.
- Work with AI engineers to understand how evolving model capabilities unlock new monetization opportunities.
- Embrace fast iteration cycles, context engineering, and experimental development grounded in user value.
- Understand the potential of generative AI in personalizing upgrade paths and value delivery at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product roles with deep experience in growth, monetization, or conversion optimization.

- Strong UX instincts —you can spot friction, unclear value propositions, and suboptimal flows with ease.
- Working knowledge of monetization psychology, pricing strategies, and feature gating techniques.
- Analytical rigor: cohort analysis, LTV modeling, retention curves, statistical significance—you know what good looks like.
- A track record of collaborating tightly with design and engineering to ship impactful experiments fast.
- Exceptional communication skills—you can clearly explain hypotheses, outcomes, and trade-offs to any audience.
- Familiarity with agile practices, backlog management, and outcome-based product planning.
