About the role
- Report to the Director of Technical Program Management and drive clarity between company strategy, technical execution, and measurable outcomes for the Systems group
- Coach and develop TPMs to own metrics, build quality roadmaps, and deliver impact
- Ensure cross-team dependencies and long-term technical strategy are connected
- Oversee and guide team metrics and goals; hold TPMs accountable
- Discover connections between day-to-day work, product vision, technical strategy, and customer needs to prioritize work
- Build relationships across the organization to unblock the team
- Balance coaching, feedback, and mentorship to grow team members' careers
- Hold team members accountable for delivering high-quality roadmaps on time
- Foster collaboration with leadership teams and stakeholders and support large-scale initiatives
Requirements
- Managed a team of TPMs (Program, Project or Product) or equivalent in a high-growth environment
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Technical Project Manager for internal engineering teams
- A strong technical background for collaboration with engineering teams
- Experience in SAAS businesses and understanding of key metrics
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Data-driven mindset using data to define problems and measure impact
- Collaborative approach and ability to build partnerships across teams
- Execution excellence and ability to deliver projects while managing multiple priorities
- Close relationship to technology and ability to communicate business requirements to technical audience
- (Nice-to-have) Experience with AWS infrastructure, Developer Acceleration, Ruby/Rails, Data and streaming technologies
- (Nice-to-have) Past experience as a software developer and/or infrastructure/sysadmin
