About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the Quality Department
- Create inspection, sampling, and testing procedures for incoming materials, components, and finished products
- Maintain adherence to IATF 16949, AIAG, and customer-specific requirements
- Track and report on customer satisfaction metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality problems
- Conduct audits, monitor performance, and ensure supplier compliance
- Ensure all quality records, certifications, and databases are accurate and up-to-date
- Integrate quality standards early in the design and development process
- Drive continuous improvement: Implement root cause analysis, scrap reduction, and first-time quality initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in automotive industry
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Manager role
- Familiarity with electrification highly desired
- Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D), automotive systems, and manufacturing processes
- Industry familiarity: Experience with Tier 1 supplier operations, OEM relationships, and automotive certification systems
- Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO, and AIAG requirements
- Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading and engineering applications
- Ability to speak Chinese preferred
