- As we expand from our origins in t-shirts to a diverse range of projects and products, we’re looking for a visionary Lead UX Designer to unify our design approach and drive exceptional user experiences across our growing portfolio.
- As the Lead UX Designer you will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction and execution of our global design efforts.
- You’ll oversee all design aspects for our product and brand surfaces, ensuring consistency and innovation as we introduce new products and features.
- This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement, blending leadership with individual contribution.
- You will be responsible for building a cohesive design vision, establishing effective systems and processes, and mentoring a talented team of designers.
- Cross-team collaboration: Work with multiple product teams simultaneously, adapting your approach to each team's unique needs and timelines
- Full-cycle design: Take projects from initial concept through final implementation,
- including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and design handoff
- Rapid iteration: Move quickly through the design process while maintaining high standards and attention to detail
- Stakeholder communication: Effectively gather requirements and communicate design
- decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Process optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency
- Design system adoption: Work within our established design system while contributing to its evolution
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining design systems
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced component creation, variants, and auto-layout
- Strong understanding of Tailwind CSS and utility-first design principles
- Experience with design tokens and design-to-development workflows
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with engineering teams
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-platform considerations
- Proficiency in AI tools and Figma plugins that enhance UX workflows and productivity
- Preferred:
- Experience with UX Ops and design team process optimization
- Knowledge of design system tools (Storybook, Zeroheight, etc.)
- Experience designing AI-powered features or interfaces
- Background in front-end development or strong technical fluency
