About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the Federation's local grantmaking programs in Jewish education and social services.
Identify and support innovative projects aligning with the mission and strategic goals.
Supervise the Program Officer and Program Associate.
Manage the grantmaking process, including budget and compliance.
Work closely with grantees, community partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, related experience required; Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, grantmaking, or a related field, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management systems.
Understanding of the Jewish community, its needs, and the broader nonprofit landscape.
